what happens to a dream deferred
does it dry up like a raisin in the sun?
or fester like sore?
and the run?
does it stink like rotten meat?
or crust and sugar sugar over like a heavy load?
or does it it expand?

what happens to a mothers memory?
does it dry up like dry skin?
or like dirt?
and the dark.
does it stink like bad breath?
or rotten frosting on a b-day cake?
that you never get to try?
maybe it just sticks in your mind .
like nothing happen when it actually did.
or does it float on your mind like million pieces.

What I am trying to say in this poem is what happens to a mothers dream of finding her daughter.Does it hide on her mind that she did not see her daughter in her b-day,because she was kidnap.A mother cannot forget what happen to her daughter.It just sticks in her mind no knowing what to do.

I have a dream that my little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judge by there color of their skin but by the content of their character.(I have a dream speech..pg373..)


This speech and quote is very important to the people back then because they where slaves one day.Also because they were treated bad.For example,there was racism.The white man where being races to the black man.The black man had to sit at the end of the bus.Also they had to drink water from different water fountains.The black man did not like that.So they wanted to stop that.They wanted freedom from all the racism and this speech help them.That's why it is very important to them.

It is also important to me because i feel bad of the things that happen with the black man.I mean I would of been mad to and do what I ever I could do to get respected.Not judge by my color but by the content of my judgment.Like i said before we are all human bins.We should all be treated like them.

Everybody haves a dream even my parents!!
My dad pass away 8 years ago.But he had his dreams.I mean he was a guy with a lot of dreams.One of his dreams was to help the poor people especially the kids.Like one day my dad was buying a lot of cloths and getting hid old cloths just to give it to the poor.That was not only one of his dreams.My dad love cooking he made one of the best plates.So he wanted to have his own restaurant.Well I did not know much about his dreams but those where the most important to me.

My mom did not had dreams like my dad.She only wanted her children to be happy. In order to make her children happy.She wanted to buy a house and a car.Thanks to my dad she got the house and the car.My mother did not had that much of a dream she only wanted to be happy.But my dad did had his dream.The bad thing was that he did not got all his dreams because he pass away.The only thing that matters is that my dad and my mom made us happy .Also that the biggest dreams that parents like to accomplish is making their children happy....

Should you speak up to races comments ?

I think that here in the United States is already bad with racism.So in my opinion you should not speak up to racist comments.It will be better if you keep your comments to your self too.You will make it much better because if you response for every comment you may something even more racist.Like Martin Luther King Jr. he kept going with his dream he did not listen to others peoples comments.

My mother always told me if you want to be respected you have to respect the rest.That will make the life easier for all of us.Life is not about what color you are or what country you are from.We are all GODS children we have to respected each other.Do not response to racist comments because it is not worth it we are all the same, we are all gods children.If you are talking back to them it is because you are letting them know that we all deserve the same respect.You will have to make it official and understanding.

Last and least ,like a said before you should not speak up to racist comments.You could get in series consequences .If the situation gets very bad other people could get in the fight and make the fight even bigger.So if you want to be problem free.Do not answer back to racist comments .If you don't want to get in trouble.

Goals That I Acomplish

First of all, I got a higher rank in JROTC. My new rank it is now coporal but I will try to get it higher.By getting good grades and not having homework letters or detentions,I made it to another rank.I also learned new beats in tenners now I learned all the beats.By going to practice and paying attention.
Another goal I accomplish is teaching my dog how to walk in the leash.She is now good.Onlybecause I got her use to walking in the leash every day in the morning,until she got the hang of it.

I also teach my cosin to read.I wasnt really easy because he dont pay attention.So I copied Ms.Diaz with the candy I started giving him candy everyt itme he did some thing good.He started liking that idea so he started paying attention to me.So he learned to read.
